Lightning Morphos 3

This is a zoom in shot of the Morpho Butterfly collection. These specimens are a pair of male Morpho Cypris. Note that most Morpho specimens are missing their abdomens. This is because Morphos release a chemical from their abdomens which stains the wings when they die and thus, the abdomens have been removed to preserve the beauty of these butterflies.
